In 1895, Professor Hans Goldschmidt, founder of the Goldschmidt Group, patented one of the most important scientific findings of the railway industry, the Thermit® process. This process meant a great advance in the world railroad development. Today, the Goldschmidt Group is the market leader, and thanks to its ability to innovate, it is one of the biggest developers of products and services for the railway market.
Thermit do Brasil is a Goldschmidt company. Established in Brazil since 1951, it is responsible for the Brazilian and South American markets, producing equipment and consumables.
